FORTIFYING NIGERIA'S PETROLEUM INDUSTRY: A UNITED APPROACH TO COMBATTING OIL THEFT AND PIPELINE VANDALISM

In a bid to combat these issues and ensure the safety and prosperity of the industry and the nation, the Chairman House COMMITTEE on Petroleum Resources (Downstream), Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, and his Deputy, Hon. Aliyu Mustapha Abdullahi, paid an advocacy visit to Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, the Chief of Army Staff. Their meeting signifies a willingness to work together and form a unified front to combat the threats posed by oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and security issues.
